Avell was born in 2025 from the passion for fashion of our founder Ana Pequito, who wanted to create timeless designs that could be passed down from generation to generation.

A brand that believes fashion can be both elegant and practical. Inspired by the hustle and bustle of everyday life, Avell collections are timeless, designed for women who value comfort and versatility in their garments, without ever compromising on elegance.

We believe in a more ethical and transparent fashion industry, producing in Portugal and using high-quality materials.

Avell is a brand made in Portugal, which produces garments in small quantities, thus promoting more conscious and sustainable consumption.

We believe that excellent raw materials are the basis of sustainable consumption, which is why we produce high-quality garments that can be passed down from generation to generation.

 

Our Founder – Ana Pequito

Avell was born out of my passion for the world of fashion. I am a Portuguese woman in Switzerland, divided between two worlds, here and there. Switzerland gave me the opportunity to work in my field, healthcare, but I always felt that something was missing. My professional career in healthcare gave me the opportunity to care for others, and I felt that with Avell I could give something different of myself to the world. For me, fashion is a way of expressing who we are and showing a little bit of myself beyond being a healthcare professional.

That's why I founded Avell, a brand inspired by strong women, a brand of female empowerment and elegance.

My greatest inspiration is the women in my life: my mother, who is always elegant and at the same time a warrior, and my two sisters, who are so different from each other, but inspire me every day through our differences.

 

And so Avell was born.
